He is the Director of the African Leadership Centre (ALC) and also a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Nairobi. He holds a BA and MA from Kenyatta University and an MA and Ph.D. in History from North-western University, Ill.

Fr Gabriel Dolan

Fr Gabriel Dolan

He is a missionary who has worked across the country in many areas such as Kitale, Turkana and he currently based in Mombasa. As an outspoken priest, he has bravely crusaded against land-grabbing. Father Dolan received the Fr. Kaiser Award for his defence for the Rule of Law and Human Rights in Kenya.

L. Muthoni Wanyeki

She is the Regional Director for East AFRICA, the Horn, and the Great Lakes for Amnesty International and works and publishes on development, communications, gender, and human rights. She holds a BA in Political Science (International Relations) and French (literature), an MBA in Public Affairs from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris, and is a PhD candidate with the Department of Politics and International Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).

He is a lawyer and Kenyan human rights activist who currently serves as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association. He is also the Executive Director of InformAction.

Davinder Lamba

He is a professional Architect and prolific civil society activist famed for the Operation Firimbi. He is also democracy advocate and researcher in Kenya and the founding Director of Mazingira Institute.

George Kegoro

George Kegoro

He is the Executive Director, KHRC and the secretary to the board. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law coupled with a Masters in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi. He has over 2 decades of experience in the struggle for transformative justice. By being a long standing columnist with the Daily Nation,a daily newspaper he contributes to the shaping of public opinion within Kenya, regionally and internationally.
